Dear Terry,
Not sure i fyou remember me, But I saw this story about your son just today and wanted to pass on my best thoughts to you.
I am sorry that to see something about you after all this time is such a sad thing yet I see that your son and I played on the same Little Leg. Team, the Angles and we were both in Cub Pack 55 as well as both went to St. Raymonds. It just feels in a very small way a connection.
My thoughts go out to you, your Brothers, your Wife and son!
Be well,

Dear Candy and Terry,
You have given us all a gift in the life of Matthew. He was a true reflection of your unconditional love. His smile, big, beautiful eyes and engaging personality are gifts we will carry with us always. As Fr. Nhat said once in a homily, "Snuggle close to my merciful heart and I will fill it with peace." Since we can not take away your pain, please know that beyond our prayers, we are here for you in the days, months and years ahead.

Dear Candy, Terry, and Family,
As you well know, Matthew is loved and will be missed by all were so happy to know him. I have known you all for such a short time, but Matthew always made me feel good whenever he stopped by to say hi, and to tell me what was happening in his life. When I put new stones in the yard he told me the names of the fancy ones, and when he got a new birthday bike he came over to show me.
There is an empty space where Matthew was, but a warm full space in my heart where I will always remember him.
My prayers are with you all.

Dearest Terry, Candy, and my precious Godchild,
No words can express the loss that you have experienced, a loss for all of us.
May God give us the strength to comprehend what he was thinking, when he chose Matthew - this very sweet, kind, sensitive, gentle "old soul" that he was. Matthew opened my heart and taught me more than I even knew I had. He was a gem, our little munchkin man. I am honored to have been a part of his life and to have loved him and been loved by him. God rest his little soul, I will miss him and hold dear my memories.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your son Matthew. I am part of a moms plus group through St Ray's, and, although my daughter does not go to St Ray's school, I know many families that know your family.
My heart aches for you in the loss of Matthew. I pray for peace and gentleness as you travel along this journey of grief. I lost a son last year around this time, right before his birth and found a wonderful on-line forum that helped me in my grief. If you would like more information, I know that John L. @ St Ray's has more information - or you can also contact me and I can email the information to you.
Sending you many prayers to help hold you up in these darkest moments.......

Please know that I have asked all the Sisters of the Resurrection to pray to Matthew for your entire family. I am so sorry that we at Resurrection High School did not know of Matthew's death until after the funeral. However, do know that we pray that God's love be with you in a very special way to give you strength and courage at this time. I was away in Rome when you were at Res, Candy, but did teach your Mom, Pat. There just are no words to say over your great loss - we just need to leave it all in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and your dear little Angel in heaven!

Dear Candy,Terry and Family
I am unable to express the deep sorrow that I feel for you all since losing Matthew. What a beautiful soul your son has. It was easy to see in his eyes and in every smile he gave to you that he knew he was very loved. You gave that light to him. He will help guide you through the dark. This I truly believe.

Dear Lewnard Family,
I will always remember Matthew's wonderful smile! He was a great friend to all his classmates who was always upbeat and ready to share a story. While teaching, I would love to hear him say, "Miss Kramer, did you know...." And most of the time my answer was, "No Matthew, I didn't!" He was a smart boy who loved life!! Thank you for sharing him with me.

There are no words in any language that can provide you with any comfort on the loss of your precious son. All we can do is to embrace your family with love and provide any support we can. While we did not know Mattew directly, we know of the immense love you had for him. To love so deeply is the greatest gift you could give him. Love never fails and it is that love that binds you together forever. There will always be a hole in your heart missing him,as there is for our Joey. Over time you will carry his spirit in your heart knowing that he is with you. Look for the signs you will know his presence. Know too, that he will never be forgotten, his spirit is eternal. Our prayers are with you. If there is anything we can do for your family feel free to ask.May God bless you always!

It was clear to Cynthia and me that, from the first, Matthew was loved and cherished, and that he gave enjoyment in return.
His grandfather Al and Gloria were so taken with him that they could never spend enough time with him.
Why God took this child so soon we will never know. Their hurt will last forever; but so will their fond memories of his brief life.
May his memory be for a blessing.

Lewnard family,
We were so saddened to hear the news of Matthew's passing last week. While we don't know you, we do know your pain and offer our deepest condolences and prayers.
We want you to know that Matthew will be with you always...he will live on in spirit and you'll see that often in the things and people around you...and it will amaze and comfort you.
May the good Lord bring you peace and comfort this next week and during the tough days ahead. We pray that your faith remains strong. You will need to draw on it often.
We pass along this Psalm that a good friend passed on to us 3 1/2 years ago:
Psalm 34:18
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit.
As the passing days turn into months and years, you will certainly grow to understand what God means when He says 'Do not be afraid, I am with you...'
Our hearts are heavy today. We will keep Matthew, the family and friends in our daily prayers.
We know that the 3-F's, your faith, family and friends, will help you make it through this challenging and sorrowful time.
May the Peace and Grace of God be with you today and everyday.
Ray, Jesse & Madison Nedohon

Matthew,
You were 6 months old and fell asleep on my chest while we were watching Tarzan. I looked down at you and thought there's no greater gift from God in our world. Now there's a hole in our hearts that will never be filled, but our lives are so much better because you touched them.
God took you back to him sooner than any of us wanted but we're so proud of his newest angel. We know you're not gone forever and that we'll see you again someday, but please pray for all of us - especially your Mommy, Daddy and Michael - and give us the strength to go on until that day comes.
We miss you more than words can ever express. Thank you for giving the world 8 wonderful years of blessing and love. Please save a place for us in heaven.
We Love you,
