I remember this time last year I was making you your Father's Day gift...the scrapbook! Happy Father's Day Mike Snider was also on the CUBS score board for the game on Father's Day. I miss you so much Dad and you are always in my heart. I love you so much Dad and I wish you were here right now sitting in the basement blasting your music until mom would come down and yell at you cause your speakers were shaking the entire house. Then you would say...ok honey...I love you! She would roll her eyes and walk upstairs. Love ya Dad. Bran

Dad, I miss you so much every minute of every day. I read the things people say on here and you were loved so much by so many people but not near as much as I love you. People say the pain will go away with time but so far it gets worse every day. I don't want you to worry cause Mikey and I are takin care of mom for you, she's been having a hard time lately. I miss and love you so much Dad. Brandi~

Mike was my cousin and a great friend. I have not seen him recently, as we both have been busy with our own lives, but I loved him like a brother, and cherish all of our college memories, singing Elvis tunes and dancing through the wee hours...Mabel's and that taco joint across the street!! Viva Michael J. Snider...hope you meet Elvis in Heaven!!!

Mike was my cousin and my father's godson...and, although we have not hung out much in recent years, a very good friend. I will alway cherish our college memories at U of I, singing and dancing and hunting down the Elvis Brothers. I loved Mike like my 3rd brother and my heart does got out to Jackie, Marianne and Jimmy, i.e., "Shemp"...we are family. Let's raise a pint and sing some Elvis!!!

My deepest condolences to Chris and the kids and the whole Snider clan that I got to know in high school and college. I recently had the joy of attending my son's graduation ceremonies at U of I and took him and his girlfriend to Mabels (now Brothers?) and all the good memories that we had there. It was amazing how easy it was to step back 25 years like no time had passed. Mike would laugh and pat me on the back when I asked him if it was true that this was the 197th time that he had seen the Elvis Brothers, and he would ask me "Do you have the cards?" My son was surprised at how passionately someone could talk about nights like that 25+ years later, but he didn't know the people like Mike and others that made them special. Jackie, Marianne, and Jim - my heart goes out to you on your loss.

I am very saddened to hear about Mike. We grew up in the same neighborhood and played together. I am sorry we lost touch in High School. I do have fond memories of my childhood that include Mike. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I was stunned and saddened to learn of Mike's passing. He was a great guy to know. He was a classmate in high school. I wish I had kept in touch with him. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out for his wife and family. Mike, you will be greatly missed.

I am truly stunned and saddened to learn of Mike's passing. As fellow college roommate and H.S. friend Glenn said so very well, we all gained an appreciation for Elvis songs from Mike. In college I could hardly bear to hear them all the time. Afterwards, I find myself tuning into the Elvis station on Sirius. I'll listen with a touch of sadness now. I also have fond memories of driving in his "Musta" as the ng had fallen off, of playing Pitch card games, and of living in the loft above his room in college. I enjoyed his entire family. My deep sympathy and prayers go out to his wife and family. Ken Caeti

It's been so long since I've seen Mike and I can't believe he's gone. I'll always remember his youthful spirit, his great sense of humor, listening to Elvis songs until my head hurt and playing Pitch until the sun came up. Mike was the kind of guy that everybody wanted to be around and always had us laughing. Chris, I never met you, but my heart goes out to you. Jackie, Marianne and Jim, Mike was a terrific friend and a wonderful brother to you all. He loved you all very much. Mike will always have a special place in my heart and I'm so sorry I didn't keep in touch with him. It's so sad that Elvis has left the building.

You were really one of a kind Mike. Everytime I hear an Elvis song or see one of his movies, I will think of you. We will all miss you, "Elvis". Viva Las Vegas!

The Bevier Homecoming will not the be same! I always looked forward to seeing Mike and receiving one of his wonderful hugs. It was always great to catch up on each other and our families. Like Delores, you were taken much to young, Mike. My sympathy goes out to Jackie, Marianne, and Jim and their families. You are all in my prayers.

It's been a very long time since I've seen Mike. We were actually childhood friends so I can't contribute much beyond playing Kick the Can. I do know that he was then the type of person you would want in your life...his whole family is like that and I know he carried that tradition. Too young Michael...
