Monica Mary Skulski

Monica Mary Skulski (Fitch)

May 9, 1939 - October 21, 2024.

Monica was born in Rockford, (IL) to Robert and Laura Fitch. She grew up in River Forest,IL.

Her chosen career was a teacher of elementary school children. In collaboration with Ann Kulig she wrote "A Garbage Can Day," a book helpful to children. She retired in 2004.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Skulski of Chicago; her sisters, Roberta Skach of Naperville, Kathleen and Mary Fitch of Vashon, and brothers, Michael  (MA), Christopher (FL), Edward (OR). and Thomas (IL).

She was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick (Istanbul), and sisters, Barbara Fitch (IL) and Laura Eastwood (CA).
