MURIEL L. GAARE

1925 - 2016

DES PLAINES - Muriel L. Gaare was born August 6, 1925, in Chicago, to Joseph and Vida Sleeting. She passed away peacefully January 30, 2016, following a short stay at ManorCare in Rolling Meadows after residing in Des Plaines for 63 years. She was the loving wife of the late Everett W. Gaare Sr. and was married in 1946. Muriel is survived by her son, Everett "Skip" (Carol) Gaare; cherished grandmother of Jeffrey (Brittney) Gaare; Jennifer (Patrick) Dignan; Jonathan (Laura) Satala, and Laura's daugher, Haley; Joel (Caitlin) Satala; and proud great-grandmother of Keiren Dignan. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Sleeting; daughter, Nancy Satala; son-in-law, Robert Satala; and grandson, Jason Satala. Muriel was a loving aunt and friend to many. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
