Dearest aunt nancy- I am so thankful for being able to be blessed to have had you in my life. You always had a great smile on your face and i will always remember your laugh and the way you'd say "ooo leah, reallly..." when i'd tell you something you always seemed so eager to listen. I'll never forget how excited i'd get when i was little when you came in town because, you would always bring me a little stuffed animal from your trip here and i thought that was soo neat! Also the way you would always call me "little girl" even when i was not so little anymore. You always had such great stories to tell and i will truly miss your visits and your strong faith and compassion for everyone you touched. I cant wait to see you again and i know you are in heaven now being our guardian angel! please protect our family! I love you and god bless you! Love your niece-Leah

To the Howell Family,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Nancy. I remember her fondly as one of my sister Heather's favorite childhood friends. When I think of Nancy I remember her coming down our street, with Dorothy, riding your pony, "Peanuts" and the cart to pick up Heather. She was a fun loving person and is a great loss to all who knew her. My deepest sympathies to all of you. Shayne Bullen (McNerney)

Dearest and Beloved Aunt Nancy, Since I was a little girl I knew you were a special person. The love and light that came from you was what taught me to be a good person. You taught us all that we can make it through lifes hard turns as long as we have faith in our Lord and ourselves. You believed in me like noone else ever could and I will greatly miss your letters of inspiration. Thank you for teaching me to never give up and to never stop laughing. Please help all of us to live our lives as you lived yours...with faith and love. I miss you more than any words can say, but I know you are in a better place now and I take comfort in knowing I will see you again in Gods Kingdom. I love you Nancy like my kittycat loves Crave. Until we meet again, Your loveing neice, Carey

Nancy blessed us all with her gifts of grace and her service to us through her example of prayers and selfless spirit and her caring attitude to all aound her people and animals both. She had few material things and she never complained, though she had a great deal of pain. She always complimented others, even those that were rude to her, and she was kind and generous to all. She had so much love and especially for her Family, her "baby Jesus" and "her kitties" and "her Michael" She never had a bad word to say about anyone. If anyone was mean to her, she was always forgiving and she would ask us to pray for them because they were just having a hard time and needed to be prayed for more.

she ALWAYS worried that it would rain on Easter!! (I have the letters to prove it!! She loved Easter because Jesus came out of the tomb and she thought that was the greatest of all!!She felt like each Easter was the first!!

She was always there for those who needed her. She had more faith and compassion than I have ever seen. She spoke about life as if she was preparing for Heaven and that was her reason for life - and now she is There . She always said "Liza, do you think I'll go to Heaven with my kitties and Michael" and I told her "Yes you will Nancy and I will pray that you do and you know my prayers always work its a sure thing, you ARE going to Heaven!!" She said with that great laugh of hers "God Bless You Liza"

I pray tht someday we will all be together with nancy in Heaven . If we all lived our lives from this day forward with Nancys same spirit Heaven would be a sure thing, Let us all make a promise to be more like Nancy and rid ourselves of our material desires, our jealousies, our selfishness, our gossip, our anger, etc, and surround ourselves with Nancys" love, faith, and compassion. I think then the Earth would be Heaven!! Love to my new favorite Saint " Nancy Leigh "

!!! be praying to you tonight sweetie xo love ya , your sister Liza

I do remember Nancy playing the guitar in the lobby of MHS and many students gathered around enjoying her talent. May the Lord wrap his loving arms around you and that you feel his love.
