PATRICIA A. "TRISH" KETCHMARK

1939 - 2023

Patricia A. "Trish" Ketchmark, 84, of Chino Valley, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, Prescott, AZ. Trish was born on February 6, 1939, in Elgin, Illinois. She was the daughter of Frank and Emma (Harrison) Mayer. She grew up in Elgin, IL and graduated from Elgin High School in 1957. Trish went on to attend the Evanston School of Nursing, Northwestern University. Trish was a wonderful nurse and worked for many years at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL as the Head Nurse of the Pediatric Unit. In later years she moved to Iowa and worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Knoxville, Iowa, attending to the needs of severely disabled veterans. Living in Iowa, Trish raised many horses, including breeding, raising lots of colts and fillies, and training. Another great joy in her life was raising her giant breed dogs, the Great Pyrenees and Newfoundlands. In 2004, Trish moved to Chino Valley, Arizona. She became an active member in her church, St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, and later worked on the Finance Committee. Trish also volunteered at the Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center in Prescott, enjoyed welcoming visitors, taking them on tours of the historic building and talking about its rich history. Trish is survived by her sister, Pamela "Pam" (Robert Jr.) Davis; her niece, Jennifer (Ben) Partridge and nephew, Robert III (Christen) Davis; one grandnephew, Jack and three grandnieces, Audrey, Eleanor, and Marilyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed in 2006; her parents; her older brother, Frank L. in 2008 and younger brother, Richard in 2019. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Chino Valley Funeral Home, 480 West Palomino, Chino Valley, AZ. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 1st, at St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 2062 SR-89, Chino Valley, AZ.
