Patricia Perez Obituary

Patricia Mae Perez

Patricia Mae Perez was born August 8, 1937, in Havana, Illinois, and passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025.

Patricia found joy in the simple and profound beauties of life; from the rolling landscapes of Oregon, Illinois, to the majestic cliffs of Starved Rock State Park, and her annual trips to San Diego with her son Chris. She carried a deep appreciation for nature, for family gatherings, and for the warmth of home.

She is survived by her three children, Richard Perez, Christopher Perez, and daughter Stefanie Makofski. Each of them will carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Frances Philbin; and by her late husband, Richard Perez, whose memory she honored in every step of her life's journey.

Patricia's kindness, her appreciation for beauty, and her devotion to family will live on in those who knew her. May she rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who loved her.

A visitation will be held at The Daleiden Mortuary (220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, IL 60506, 630-631-5500) on October 30th, 2025 from 4PM-7PM. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made out to the Illinois based Cure 4 Stroke Foundation in honor of Patricia.
