Dear Kielty family - so very sorry your dad and husband passed away. I remember him as a happy swim dad always supporting his kids and all the swimmers and divers on the JHHS team.
Hope you keep each other close and hold onto the good memories.

Dear Mary Anne and family, I was swimming today and wondered why I haven´t seen Pat at the pool since Memorial Day weekend. I was devastated when someone told me he passed away on 5/31. We had such a nice conversation the weekend before that at Rec pool , and he seemed to be in perfect health, enjoying a swim and friendly as ever to everyone there. This makes me so sad. He loved his family and friends so much. Such a wonderful man. Gone too soon. I will keep him and your family in my prayers. Lori Pinakidis, Arlington Heights

From 1967 through 1971, I may have seen Pat almost every day. If we weren´t caddying at Beverly seven days a week, Pat was studying at (and I attending) St. Ignatius. In all the years I knew him, he always had a smile and a laugh. Pat moves from "Out Here" to "Up There". Please E B we said "hi".

I am very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. We were both civil engineering students at U. of Illinois, and he was a great mentor during my freshman year. My mind is currrntly flooded with all thise great college memories during our time at the Evans Scholar House. After college we spent a couple of good years working together as young engineers for Kenny Construction.
Please accept my deepest condolences.

Pat was a man of great accomplishment. A member of the 1967-1968 St. Sabina Blue Streaks, widely considered the greatest grammar school basketball team in Illinois history. A Hall of Fame caddy and legend at Beverly Country Club. A mentor and inspiration at St. Ignatius. An Evans Scholar at the University of Illinois and a gentleman with a great laugh and sense of humor. You will be missed my friend. Gino Naughton

Pat was instrumental in helping the County deliver the Stearns Corridor project on time and within budget. He was good to work with. One of his favorite phrases was "Fear no man build by plan". He will be missed. Our condolences to his family.

I am so sad hearing this news. Pat and I and Marty Berent (also deceased) were inseparable when we were caddies at Beverly. So many good times. We were also both Evans Scholars. (He at U of I, me at Purdue.) Although we went our separate ways, we kept in touch over the years. I last saw him when I was in Chicago for a wedding a couple of years ago. He kindly took me on a tour of the South Side and the revamped Beverly. He was such a good guy, always with a big smile.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Pat and I and Marty Berent (also deceased) were inseparable as caddies at Beverly Country Club in the late 1960s. Pat and I were also Evans Scholars (he at U of I, me at Purdue). While Pat and I went our separate ways, we kept in touch over the years and always picked up our friendship just where we left off. I last saw him a couple of years ago, when I was in Chicago for a wedding, and he kindly took the time to give me a tour of the South Side and the revamped Beverly. He was a good guy, always with a smile on his face, and he went way too young. I'm sorry I was never able to talk him into visiting me in Florida some winter. It would have been fun.
