Paul R. Myhre

Paul R. Myhre of Huntley Memorial services for Paul R. Myhre, 66, formerly of Barrington, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1190 N. Hicks Road, Palatine. Interment will be private. He died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. From 1960 to 1962, he served as a math teacher at Annandale High School, Annandale, Minn. From 1962 to 1970, he was high school math teacher and Director of Math for the Bloomington School District, Bloomington, Minn. From 1970 to 1972, he was director of data processing for the Bloomington School District. From 1972 to 1998, he worked for Hewlett Packard, in management positions, working in California, Florida and Illinois. In 1998, he retired after 25 years of service. Mr Myhre, with his wife, loved to travel, was an avid golfer, a former member of the Army Reserve Band, served on various boards and councils of the churches he attended and was a member. He is survived by his wife, Norma Myhre (nee Kawell); daughter, Susan (Dan) Micucci of Lake Zurich; son, Michael (Tori) Myhre of Huntley; grandchildren, Allison, Matthew and Lindsey Micucci and Jackson, Ryan, Sean and Daniel Myhre; brothers, Richard (Helen) Myhre and Douglas (Ann) Myhre; sisters-in-law, Linda (Keith) Senn and Terry (Michael) Murphy; four nephews; and five nieces. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Ill., 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010 or Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
