Kevin & the entire Kristan family. I am truly saddened to just learn of Peter's recent passing! I live in Mundelein most of my life and the "Kristan" name was synonymous with kindness, generosity, and friendliness! Peter, as the entire family, embodied that reputation.
I visited with Peter in 2020 during a particularly difficult time in my life. He was extremely kind, understanding and helpful.
My deepest condolences to all the Kristan Family.

Dear Kevin & extended Kristan Family,
My heart goes out to everyone. Hearing the loss of Peter was very sad, he was one of the kindest human beings you cherished as a friend. No matter what the circumstances were he never had anything negative to say about anyone and always smiled and waived when passing by. And you didn't leave without getting a Hug from him! He truly loved this town and liked to reminisce about the past when growing up with places that have come and gone. His retirement was a short but well lived doing what he loved. God Bless All and may he rest Peace with Steve and the rest of the family.

Peter Kristan was my mother’s next door neighbor for several years. He was a good neighbor and gentle friend to her. Over the year’s Kristan’s handled the arrangements for my Aunt Katie Louise Cordero neéHartsfield; my mother, Lillian neé Hartsfield Lee, and two sisters, Sylvia and Irene Lee.
Peter and Pete Sr. and Kevin have been patient and kind in times of greatl loss The whole Kristan Family were professional and loving to our community. I share their loss, and pray that they all have peace in their memories of all who have gone before them. Peace, Joy, and love to all who mourn .

I have known the Kristan family for many, many years. When we lost our parents, our two brothers and our sister they handled everything for me and my only sister that is left because we had enough to take in. Peter and his family took care of us. May you R.I.P. my friend. You will be missed.

Pete was just the kindest person. He was so gentle with me and my family when my husband died, and I will never forget his kind ways. My kids, who always served the funerals at Santa Maria, remember him as the one "who always gave us the envelopes", and they all remember him as being so friendly and nice. May he rest peacefully. I know you will miss him terribly; he was a bright light in this community.
