Dear Aunt Rita,
I had been wanting to write you a letter...but I let time get away from me, and that is no excuse. I regret being lazy in that regard, and I'm very sorry I didn't use the opportunity I had to let you know that I love you. I just wanted you to know that I think about you often even though I haven't had a lot of time over the years to spend with you in person. You were always so kind to me and for that I am grateful. Your beautiful smile illuminates my memory and always will. My son and I are doing well…daily struggles and all. He is learning to play the flute and has the second chair in his section. I will be sure to show my son your pictures and keep you alive in our memories. Please give our Love to the family...I know we will meet again some day.
