ROBERT "BOB" KOSKY

1943 - 2017

BATAVIA - Robert "Bob" Kosky, age 73, formerly of Romeoville and Cicero, passed away peacefully September 27, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. He was born October 10, 1943 in Oak Park, IL to the loving late parents Val and Mabel (nee Schaumann) Kosky. Loving husband of Judy (nee Forssberg) Kosky. Beloved dad of Michael (Karen) Kosky of Batavia, IL, and Robert (Maada) Kosky of Batavia, IL. Dearest grandpa of Joshua, Bridget and Ellison Kosky. Cherished brother of the late LCpl Richard Kosky. Dear nephew of Ginny Moody of Mesa, AZ. Bob retired from Equipto Electronics in Aurora, IL as a Chief Engineer after 35 years of service. He was a member of Annunciation Church in Aurora since 2001 and a active member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Romeoville from 1971 to 2001. He served as a coach for St. Andrew's Grade School for many years. Bob enjoyed refereeing basketball games for over 35 years at the junior high and high school level. He was a dedicated member of Radar SAC in Cicero and an avid 16' softball player. Bob will be fondly remembered for his love of nature, hiking and especially camping at the National Parks and Rock Island. He was a loving husband, dedicated father and grandfather with a special enjoyment of cheering on his grandchildren's sports and activities.
