ROBERT WLEKLINSKI Obituary

Robert E. Wleklinski of Arlington Heights Robert E. Wleklinski was born on March 25, 1925, in Chicago to Edmund and Marie (nee Korbasiewicz) Wleklinski. He died peacefully Sunday, June 10, 2012, at his home in Arlington Heights. Robert is survived by his wife, Germaine (nee Petermann); his sons, Gary (Mary) Wleklinski and Craig T. Wleklinski; his grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin (Ashlea), Jason, Brian, Dana and Meghan Wleklinski; his sisters-in-law, Carol (Victor) Rizzo and Ira Petermann; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Lucille (the late Charles) Brooks; and his brother-in-law, Melvin F. Petermann. Visitation will be from 3 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at the funeral home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Honor Flight Chicago, 938 W. Montana St., Chicago, IL 60614 or the St. James Church Building Fund. Funeral information and condolences can be given at www.GlueckertFH.com or 847-253-0168.
