RONALD D. EDHLUND

ROLLING MEADOWS - Ronald D. Edhlund was born on November 11, 1941 in Fairmont, MN to Carl and Anne (nee Rodina) Edhlund. He died in Arlington Heights. Mr. Edhlund worked as an entrepreneur in the graphic arts industry. He was a member of Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows. Ronald loved cigars and spending time with friends. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter, and was loved by all. Ronald is survived by his spouse of 54 years Janet (nee Sass), children, Troy (Katherine) Edhlund, Rex Edhlund and Jennifer (Eric) Rath; grandchildren, Erik Edhlund, Devin Edhlund, Francesca Edhlund, Ethan Rath, Ella Rath and Emma Rath; great-granddaughter, Sydney Chism; sisters, Helen Underdahl and Linda (Larry) Rouhoff; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Edhlund; his parents Carl and Anne Edhlund; siblings, June (Herb) Russ, Rose (Stanley) Holter, Carol Hansen, Shirley Edhlund and Carl John (Ginny) Olson. Visitation Monday, May 17, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Visitation 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Harvest Bible Chapel, 800 West Rohlwing Road, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 until the 11:00 am Funeral Service. Interment will be at Randhill Park Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
