Ronald Gilbert Obituary

Ronald N. Gilbert of Des Plaines since 1963 Services for Ronald N. Gilbert will be at noon, Saturday, Dec. 30 at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29 at the funeral home. Born July 17, 1933, in Chicago, he passed away Tuesday, Dec. 26 at home. Mr. Gilbert was a retired pattern maker. He was an ardent camper and outdoorsman. Survivors include his former spouse Lenore Krefft and significant other Betty Sepulveda. He was the father of Jon(Karen) Gilbert and Kathleen (Joe) Bordenave; dad to Robert (Janis) Haltom, Michael Haltom, Tonya Haltom and Elizabeth Mezyed; grandfather of Michael, Laura and Alexander Gilbert and Christopher Bordenave; Papa Ron to Robert Jr., and Nicole Haltom; Kara Haltom: Abdallah and Adam Mezyed.
