I will miss Sam so much! She was one of my all time favorite patients. I will never forget all the times we laughed and laughed and laughed. Heaven sure just got a lot more humor infused into it! She was always such a joy to take care of. She will never be forgotten. Love you Sam!!

Samantha is the same age as my daughter. I cannot imagine your grief at this time in losing your daughter, but I also had 4 siblings that had cystic fibrosis who are now in heaven and are welcoming Samantha into Paradise where God is there to make her new home. She is loved forever.

Samantha packed more life, spunk, bravery and joy into the short time she had than most of us can muster over decades. She is -- and will forever be -- one of my greatest sources of courage, hope and inspiration. Her life was an all-too-brief gift to every person she touched.
"Life is eternal, and love is immortal,
and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing except the earthly limit of our sight."

I have a special place in my nursing heart for Samantha. I admitted Sam on our unit her very first admission. I loved caring for Sam and getting to know her family.
