Sandra R. Palmer

Sandra R. Palmer, 85, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, in Vernon Hills, IL. She was born on January 14, 1940, in Carroll, IA, was raised in Glidden, IA and had been a longtime resident of Libertyville, IL.

Sandy was a former administrative assistant at Tiger Electronics, Inc. in Vernon Hills and was a devoted member of United Methodist Church in Libertyville, where she proudly sang in the church choir for 50 years and was very active in women's ministries. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, sewing, crocheting and quilting and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband of 64 years, Donald Palmer; 4 daughters, Angela (Steve) Burrell, Kimberly (Brian) Brigman, Amy (Rob) Doty and Kathryn (Tom) Rankin; 9 grandchildren, Christopher Burrell, Abby (Joshua) Stroppel, Luke Brigman, Sara (Jose) Martinez, Kate and Claire Doty and Matthew, Paige and Grace Rankin.

A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2025, at United Methodist Church, 429 Brainerd Ave. in Libertyville. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to United Methodist Church or Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
