Sophie Peshek Prayers for Sophie Peshek (nee Lachowicz), 91, of Harwood Heights, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, and proceed to St. Theresa Church, 467 N. Benton, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Born April 24, 1911, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, June 5, 2002. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles. Sophie was the loving wife of the late Stanley; devoted mother of Robert (Janet) and the late Lawrence (Mary Lou); cherished grandmother of Dr. Kathryn (Dr. Daniel) Campbell, Kristine (Michael) Peshek-Rabbitt, Daniel (Mary Ann), David (Sureiya), Steven (Margaret), Susan (David) Pederson and Sheryl (Richard) Gayeski; fond sister of Joanne Stanley, Marie Stanley, Helen Kaluso, Irene Higgins, and Andrew and Richard Lachowicz; and great-grandmother of 10.
