I was out of the country on a military obligation when Papa passed. When I heard the news, it was a tremendous blow. I was deeply upset I could not pay my respects in person but was comforted in the fact that before I departed, I was able to see him, talk with him, laugh with him and as I have for most of my life, experience his generosity, kindness, and love. Papa was a blessing to me and so many others he will be missed, never forgotten and loved eternally.
Love you Papa.
Continued thoughts and prayers to Brian, Steve, Shara and the family.

You could always count on Papa Bushy for classic moments and one-liners. He treated me like family and I'll always remember that. He was a 1-of-a-kind guy and will be missed. Brian/Steve/Shara and Bushy family - my thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay strong and take care.

I lite a candle in remembrance of Mr. Bushy that his spirit will be among us...I never met him but Lisa is my bestie, Steve is a wonderful man and their family is adorable so Mr. Bushy as you surround your family during this traumatic time remember how much all your family loved you and will miss you terribly. Watch over your family as you are now their guardian angel...
