Susan Lynne Kusak of Wheaton A celebration of the life of Susan Lynne Kusak (nee Wakefield), 48, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Harvest Bible Church, 1805 High Point Drive, Naperville. Born July 25, 1959, in Galesburg, Ill., to Gale S. and Linda K. Wakefield, she died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, surrounded by her family. She was called home by her Lord and Savior six weeks after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. Susan was a 1977 graduate of Glenbard South High School in Glen Ellyn. She did at home day-care for 14 years, impacting many families through her love of children. Some of Susan's interests included walking, Bunco with friends, strolling the farmer's market, ceramics, gardening, and laughing with her kids. She was a stay-at-home mom who committed her life to her children's wellbeing. A single parent, Susan was proud of and gave everything she had to her triplet children, Daniel, Bradley, and Megan. In addition to her children, Susan is survived by her parents; her brothers, Jeffrey W. (Kathy) Wakefield of Fairmont, Ill. and Steven B. Wakefield of Cobden, Ill.; as well as many loving family, friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Herald and Helen Townsley of Hoopeston, Ill., and George Dewey and Laura Wakefield of Odell, Ill.
