Dear Sue, we haven't seen each other much at all in the last few decades, but I well remember when the families of Ben, Al and Tony got together all the time - for picnics, barbecues and just general visiting.
When I was very young I had a kind of cousin-crush on you; you were so pretty and popular and the mirror in your bedroom was festooned with dance cards. You seemed so glamorous to me. And you had all those freckles! I used to sit in the sun for hours, just hoping to get freckles; I think I got one.
I know your fascinating and beautiful spirit never left you. In my mind you are always that beautiful person whose light drew so many people to you. Family ties never die, and you are my dear cousin forever. You are blessed.
My love to Ben and Judy, and all the nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other cousins and friends who share this sorrow
