Thomas Sachse Obituary

Thomas G. Sachse of St. Charles A Mass for Thomas G. Sachse, 66, formerly of Winfield, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. John the Baptist Church, Winfield. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Williams-Woodward Funeral Home, 820 Pine St. (corner of Route 59 and Pine), West Chicago, and from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass Saturday, at the church. Mr. Sachse was born Sept. 30, 1940, in Evanston. He retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Company after 33 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Doris (nee Anton). He was the loving father of Monica (Glenn) Sasse, Alfred (Melissa), Michael (Jan) and Joseph Sachse; grandfather of Kristina, Jenna, Peyton, Riley, Nicholas, Kate, Andrea, Ben and Nathan; dear brother of Mary "Cathy" (Richard) Hanlock; and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his loving dog, Roland. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Rosemond and Glenn and a grandson, Zachary. For information, 630-231-1300 or www.williams-woodward.com.
