Tom was my swim coach at Lattoff YMCA. He helped me develop a love for the sport while having fun doing it and inspired me to be a coach myself. My family has a lot of great memories from him and the team. He was a great inspiration, a motivator and an amazing person. My thoughts and prayers go to his family and all who were close with him.

I grew up with the Stahnke family so am devastated to hear of the passing of Tom. My heart goes out to Tom's family and to the entire Stahnke family. May Tom's memory always be for a blessing.

This is from Tom's Sears cell cubicle partner for 6+ years when we both worked in catalog. My heart goes out to Kathy and Tom's 3 children. Your father was incredible and I always thought the world of him.
