Tim P. McGovern formerly of Lombard The funeral service for Tim P. McGovern, 48, of West Chicago for 10 years, will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, and proceed to St. Pius X Church, 1025 E. Madison St., Lombard, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be private in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Mr. McGovern had attended Northern Illinois University after graduating from Willowbrook High School in 1976. He also attended Jackson Junior High School and Westmore Elementary School. He had been the art director of graphics and multimedia for Successories, Aurora. He was an avid golfer, photographer and web designer. He is survived by his wife, Val (nee Poquette); his daughter, Bonnie R.; two brothers, William M. (Debbie) of Algonquin and Kevin (Cynthia R.) of Ingleside; one sister, Kathleen M. (Chuck) Young of Lombard; eight nieces and nephews, and two great; his parents-in-law, Richard and Ardis Poquette of Suring, Wis.; and his brothers-in-law, Ray (Trina) Poquette of Memphis, Tenn. and Joseph (Laure) Poquette of Downers Grove. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Darlene McGovern of Lombard. Memorials to his three year old daughter, Bonnie R., c/o Val McGovern, Brust Funeral Home, 135 S.
