VIRGINIA "DINNY" MAURER KNUEPFER -->ELMHURST - Virginia "Dinny" Maurer Knuepfer, 95. Beloved wife of the late Jack T. Knuepfer and Lawrence Jordan; cherished mother of Claude (Karen), Mark (Margo), Barbara (John) Gassensmith, Sue (Andrew) Peters and the late Paul; mother-in-law of Nancy; loving grandmother of Kathy (Jeff), Paul (Jennifer), Amy (Mike), Kaylen, Aleksandra, Jack (fiancee Molly), Jacob, Adam, Kevin, Daniel, Samantha, Kasey, Christian and Charlie; proud great-grandmother of Connor, Kailey, Kyle, Joshua and Brook; sister of Barbara Topper and the late Frank Maurer; aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong member of the Elmhurst Garden Club, a Board Member of the DuPage Conservation Foundation and a founding member of the Elmhurst Presbyterian Church. If there was something to volunteer for, she did it. Memorial Visitation at Elmhurst Presbyterian Church, 367 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015.
