ANNETTE EMBRY "MODEAR" BEAVERS

LINCOLN - Funeral services for Annette Embry Beavers, 73, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 at Little Jerusalem A.F.M. Church of God. Bishop James A. Truss, Sr. will officiate. Burial will be at the Pine Grove Church Cemetery. Mrs. Beavers will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service. Mrs. Beavers died Saturday, November 26, 2011 in Talladega. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlander Beavers; son, Harry Embry; granddaughter, Tonya Williamson; father, Wyatt Embry; sister, Juanita Groce; and brothers, Gus, Wilbert and Jonathan Embry, Jerry, Odelle, Henry and Carl Orr. Mrs. Beavers was a member of Little Jerusalem A.F.M. Church where she served as a Missionary and Mother's Band Treasurer; she was educated in the Talladega County School System and retired from Lincoln High School. Survivors are her daughters, Meredith Beavers and Renita (Eddie) Leonard of Lincoln; sons, Robert Embry, Clyde (Armitta) Embry and John (Shelia) Embry of Lincoln; mother, Louise Embry of Lincoln; sisters, Eva (Lee) George, Jessie Wills, Mary (Gary) Smith and Annie Embry of Lincoln; brothers, Walter Embry, Paul Embry and Louis (Rosetta) Orr of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the services.
