Billy Donald Williams, age 90 passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.Billy is survived by his children, Michael Stone (Sandra), Christi Williams Roe (Charles), Anita Williams Bedford (Andy), Donald Erik Williams; grandchildren, Stephen Patrick Handley, Matthew Ryan Handley, Kanitha Stone; great-grandchildren, Braiydean Lee Handley, Levi Blanchard, Logan Blanchard; great great grandchildren, Kreek Blanchard and Kasen Blanchard; and sister, Mary L. Williams Bannister (Jim). Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy E. Williams; granddaughter, Mandy Renee Edwards; parents, Verna Frances Williams and R. V. Williams; sister, Gloria Gay Williams; and brothers, Robert L. Williams, Daniel G. Williams and F. Edward "Pody" Williams. He retired after 26 years in the Navy as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. He loved to play golf, joke with people, work in the garden and drive his tractor. A visitation for Billy will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Joe Kelley officiating. Billy will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 1501 Talladega Highway, Sylacauga, AL 35150. Serving as pallbearers are Anthony D. Lanthrip, Daniel Williams, Levi Blanchard, Logan Blanchard, Stephen Handley and Matthew Handley.
