Charlene Diane Davis' earthly journey began on January 19, 1954, in Sylacauga, Alabama. She was the beloved daughter of Hermen McKinney and Kathleen Perry McKinney, both of whom preceded her in death. Charlene received her formal education at Washington Preparatory High School. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, a commitment that guided her walk through life with faith, strength, and love. For more than 30 years, Charlene dedicated her career to business administration, serving diligently as a secretary and trusted professional. Beyond her work, she found great joy in singing with the choir, spending time outdoors, and cherishing moments with her family. Her laughter, songs, and warm spirit touched all who knew her. On August 8, 2025, Charlene peacefully departed this walk of life under the compassionate care of Compassus Hospice Care Suite in Birmingham, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, along with other dear relatives and friends who awaited her in eternal rest. Charlene's love and legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her children: Contisa Davis, Damion Davis, and Saundra Davis; her grandchildren: Franklin Tizeno, Carlin Tizeno, Danielle Davis, and Colina Davis; and her great-grandchildren: Ashlin Tizeno and Kaitlin Tizeno. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who will treasure her memory always. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing Charlene has found eternal peace in the presence of the Lord. Her unwavering love, gentle spirit, and faith-filled life will continue to inspire generations to come.
