David Stewart Obituary

Funeral services for David A. Stewart, 82, will be Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Tim Childers officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL. Mr. Stewart died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sylacauga. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Clara B. Stewart, son, Geoff Stewart of Panama City, FL daughters, Iris Anderson, husband David of Chelsea, and Laura Barnett, husband Randy of Sylacauga, brother, Warren Stewart of Munford, AL, sisters, Evelyn Magourk of Ohatchee, AL, Betty Adams, husband Bob of Saks, AL, Gay Coley of Oxford, AL, Faye Langley of Munford, AL and Judy Baker, husband J.T. of Atmore, AL, 2 grandchildren, Lisa Collier and Lindsay Worthington and one great-grandchild, Piper Worthington and sister-in-law, Evelyn Stewart of Gadsden, AL. Visitation will be Saturday January 29, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Ronnie McLain, Keith Weldon, Joey Plexico, Bill McDowell, Pop Tankersley and Jack Moore. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com. Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
