Mr. Derrel Stratton

HUNTSVILLE - Derrel Stratton, 43, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009. Mr. Stratton was employed at LG Electronics for the past 5 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, son and grandson. He served in the United States Army from 1988 until 1992, stationed in Berlin, Germany from 1989 until 1992 when the Berlin wall came down. He has lived in Huntsville since 1992. Survivors include his wife, Dana Jacobs Stratton; daughters, Courtney, Caitlin and Cassidy Stratton, all of Huntsville; mother and stepfather, Jeanie and Willie Reese of Koshkonong, MO; sister, Tiffany Stratton of Russells Point, OH; grandmother, Mary Carrasco of Lone Pine, CA; father, Paul Eichhorn of Cammano Island, WA and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at the church with Father Mike MacMahon officiating.
