Jacqualine Nobles Russell

Funeral service for Jacqualine Nobles Russell 69, will be Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11 am at the First Baptist Church South, where Pastor Ira K. Harris, officiating and Pastor Elliot Ivey, eulogist. Interment will follow at Rocky Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Russell passed away on February 1, 2025 at St. Vincent's Hospital East. Mrs. Russell's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Russell was a member of the First Baptist Church South of Pell City, AL. Jackie was a 1973 graduate of Pell City High School. She was a Business Education major at Alabama State University. She spent the majority of her career working for the courts system in St. Clair County. Survivors include her children: Anita L. Russell, Stephen (Rhonda) Russell, James A. Russell III; her siblings: Angela (Roscoe) Frazier, Paula Jackson; in-laws: Carlton Russell Sr., Jeanette Russell, Cynthia Russell, Theresa Nobles; grandchildren: Dominque (Robyn) Hawkins, LeKiya (Chandler) Stone, Tanesha (Shane) Harris, James (Camryn) Russell IV, Javon (Ayanna) Russell, Aubria Russell and Aliyah Russell, Donavan and Denver Russell; great grandchildren, godmother, Dorthena Turner, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; special caretakers, neighbors, friends and family that helped her during her transition: Linda Carol Greene, Charlott Crawford, Lashawn and Candice Green, Jo Ann Bush, Barbara Collins, Emma Gover, Mike and Earnestine Bowie, Carla Lewis, Tommy Sanders, and Simone Truss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Carl J. Nobles, Jr, and Lillie Hanna Nobles, her husband James Russell, II and son Kenny Dobbins, brother, Karl Nobles.
