So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. We had some great match ups coaching against each other and I always looked forward to them because I knew his teams would be well-coached and well prepared. He was a great role model for the young men he worked with as well as the other kids in the league. There are a lot of people that owe their knowledge of the game to Coach. It was an honor to have known him.

Precious memories, how they linger. Claudette, Bertis and I will forever be grateful to you, Coach for the special attention you gave to the students at TCT. I can see you riding on the back of the maroon truck with Bo at the wheel. Josh and Jeremy, I remember well the overnight visit spent at your house with Bo. Mrs. Forest, it was a pleasure to meet you at the reunion. I bet football is the topic of today in Heaven. You remain in our prayers.

I played baseball and was on the Winterboro weightlifting team under Coach Forrest and he will not be forgotten. He pushed us to our limits the hard way and that is something we'll never forget. I still remember crying like a baby at his last athletic banquet at Winterboro, we begged him to coach us at least one more year in baseball so we could play our Senior years under him. He brought respect to Winterboro in quite a few sports and that will never be forgotten. May God be with Josh and Jeremy and especially Mrs. Forrest in this time of need.
