A precious one from us is gone, a voice we love is still, and a place is vacant in our home that can never be filled. On December 1, 1958, through God's grace, Mary Lee McKinney became the proud parent to Jerry Lewis Oliver, in Clay County, Alabama. He was loving, courteous, pleasant, and a joy to be around. At an early age, Jerry was baptized and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a faithful member of Hollins Spring Baptist Church, Hollins, Alabama. Jerry was employed with Madix Manufacturing in Goodwater, AL, and Ace Products in Lineville, Alabama for many years. Soon after Jerry was employed with Clay County Hospital in Ashland, Alabama until his retirement. He also was a volunteer fighter with Millerville and Tri County Fire Department. Along Jerry's life's journey he met and united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Felita Simmons. He loved spending quality time with family and close friends. He had a passion for watching football with his friends. And was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He also enjoyed going throughout the woods hunting and sitting on the banks fishing. Jerry departed this walk of life on March 6, 2025 under the care of Clay County Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lee McKinney, son, Jerry L.
