I'm sending my deepest condolences over the loss of John. He was a good person. John and I grew up in Dixon, Illinois. Our friendship began way back in elementary school. I saw John at our class reunion in 2010. It was fun to catch up on what we've done over the years. I hope the family's sadness will be lightened by the memories of all the happy times spent with John.

I grew up with John in Dixon, Illinois and saw him for the first time in years at our class reunion in 2010. It was so much fun to catch up and my condolences to his family and friends. I did not realize his accomplishments and how he touched the lives of so many people.

We are so saddened to hear of John's death. He was a bigger than life guy, who made every situation better by caring for each person. We were so honored to have worked along side of him at AIDB as chaplain and friend from 1980 to 1990. Selena, you and family are in our prayers!

My heart breaks that I'm writing in this book, but at the same time, I'm proud to do this. He was an amazing principle during my time at ASD (1990-1995). I looked up to him & I knew he was a special man with a good heart. I'm praying for your family during your time of loss, but I know he's looking down from up above with pride. I know he's with the angels & he's flying high as a sweet angel. You will be sorely missed. Thanks for being who you are. Much love- Casey Jo
