On March 24, 1960, Kenneth Earl "Hambone" Hamilton began his earthly journey, born to the union of Willie and Johnnie Mae Hamilton in Talladega County, Alabama. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age and united with Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Sylacauga, Alabama. Kenneth was a devoted father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He was well known and loved by many for his warm spirit and his familiar presence sitting on the porch on Sherwood Drive-where he greeted neighbors, shared stories, and brought joy to all who passed by. On October 11, 2025, Kenneth Earl Hamilton peacefully traded his earthly journey for eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Johnnie Mae Hamilton, and four siblings: Timothy Tyrone Hamilton, Wiley Lee Hamilton, Vivian Datcher, and Sandra Gaddis. His love and memory will forever be cherished by his three children: Felicia Hamilton, Steven Hamilton, and Brittany Bledsoe; two sisters: Willie Mae Shephard of Sylacauga, AL, and Patricia H. (David) Johnson of Birmingham, AL; five brothers: Cecil E. Hamilton, Randy E. (Brenda) Hamilton, Marvin B. Hamilton, and Calvin L. Hamilton, all of Sylacauga, AL; ten grandchildren: Nathaniel Greathouse, Shamyra Graham, Lyanna Hamilton, Azarious Hamilton, A'Kayah Hamilton, Jayla Hamilton, and Janelle Hamilton, all of Ohio; Aziyan Hamilton of California; and Zakaya Tuck and Zayden Pope of Sylacauga, AL. He also leaves to cherish his memory two aunts, Martha Bradford of Sylacauga, AL, and Jewel Faye McKenzie of Childersburg, AL, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Kenneth's life was a reflection of love, family, and faith. His presence will be deeply missed but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Celebration of life for Kenneth Earl "Hambone" Hamilton, age 65, will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 2:00PM at Community Funeral Home Chapel, Sylacauga, Alabama.
