Kevin Fields Obituary

ALPINE - Funeral service for Kevin D. Fields, 44, will be Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Michael Frost officiating. Burial will be in Tallassahatchie Cemetery. Mr. Fields died Dec. 27, 2008 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, William Eugene Fields. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Survivors are daughters, Angel Fields Mann of Alpine and Cristin Fields of Tennessee; mother, Dorothy Fields of Sycamore; sister, Vanessa Hendrick of Jemison; brothers, Travis Fields of Talladega, Eric Fields of Winterboro, Reggie Fields of Fayetteville, Kim Fields of Gulf Shores, and Mark Fields of Spokane, Wash. Pallbearers are Bryian Hammonds, Randy Benefield, Glen Fields, Scott Fields, David Stewart and Kevin Pruitt. Visit online at www.mem.com. IT IS SOMETHING I'LL NEVER FORGET, MAY GOD BE WITH EACH OF YOU DURING THIS TIME OF LOSS, I WAS UNABLE TO ATTEND THE FUNARAL, BUT I WAS ABLE TO PAY MY LAST RESPECTS TO KEVIN THE MORNING OF THE FUNARAL, HE LOOKED JUST LIKE HIS SELF, AND I COULD HEAR HIM LAUGHING! Kevin was a classmate and close friend of mine from high school. I have such great memories of him. He was a wonderful person and a great friend with a smile that would light up a room. I offer my heartfelt condolences to his family. We will all miss him very much. God bless you always.
