Celebration of life for Mr. Nartavius Cortez Fluker, age 22, will be held on Saturday, July 9th, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Community Funeral Home Chapel, Sylacauga, AL. Rev. Aubrey Butler, Officiating. Interment will commence in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Sylacauga, AL. Visitation will be held Friday, July 8th, 2022, 2:00PM to 7:00PM, at Community Funeral Home, Sylacauga, AL. Nartavius Cortez Fluker's earthly journey began on September 1, 1999 in Birmingham, Alabama to the parentage of Charles Smith and Cassandra Fluker. Nart, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Shiloh Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama. He received his formal education in the Sylacauga City School System and graduated from Sylacauga High School with the class of 2017. He furthered his education and attended Auburn University at Montgomery. Nartavius began his work career and became an employee with Velcon Filters in Sylacauga, Alabama. He departed this walk of life on July 2, 2022 under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, Alabama. Nartavius love will forever be cherished by his loving mother, Cassandra Fluker, Sylacauga, AL; father, Charles Smith of Tallassesse, AL; two siblings, Tamekia Fluker and Justin Fluker both of Sylacauga, AL; uncles, Tarrance (Wendy) Fluker of Sylacauga, AL, Barry (Lisa) Fluker of Anniston, AL, Anthony (Shaunta) Fluker and Larry Fluker both of Sylacauga, AL; aunts, Cheryl (Lonnie) Jennings of Sylacauga, AL, and Shana Fluker of Childersburg, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
