Terry Hammitt Obituary
Terry was born in Pell City, Alabama to parents William "Bill" & Nancy "Lou" Hammitt. He has 2 brothers, Bobby Hammitt of Clay County, Dean Hammitt of Chicago, and one sister, Vicky Hammitt. Terry was raised in Chicago but later moved back to Alabama and married the love of his life - Billie Mae. Terry worked at the Wehadkee Dye Plant in Talladega for many years before moving to Texas with his wife and children. Terry was an avid lover of wrestling, all things chocolate and most importantly taught everyone around him how to love unconditionally.
He is preceded in death by his parents: William Hammitt and Nancy Lucille Hammitt, his wife: Billie Mae Hammitt, his sister: Vicky Hammitt & his sister-in-law: Wanda Hammitt.
His memory and legacy will be carried on by his children: Terrie Williams and husband Eric Williams, Susan Hallman, James Hallmon and wife Shawn Hallmon, Sandra Lee, John Hammitt and wife Ariel Hammitt and his grandchildren: Brittany Walker, Jessica McGehee, Mitch Hallman, Kendra Hallman, Dustin Sinclair, Robert Haass and Wayne Haass.
A memorial was held on April 5, 2015 where his life was celebrated by many family and friends. His love, humor, spirit and smile will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was a wonderful and caring individual, who cared more about his family then himself. Always there for us know matter what. He is highly missed by his family and friends. God has blessed him in life and will continue to do so for him.
