Gary Lee Palmer, 78

Gary Lee Palmer age 78, passed away on January 9, 2024 at Logan Health Medical Center. Gary Lee was born to Helen and George Palmer on his father's birthday March 9, 1945.

Gary worked hard and lived his life independently and on his own terms, instilling these values in his children and grandchildren. Gary loved the woods. He worked in them, camped and relaxed in them with his family and friends as often as possible.

There was never a time with his children that there weren't extra children along, no matter the activity.

Gary is survived by his wife Martha, children Jeff, Howard, GR, and Jennifer, 17 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, two brothers and a sister all are going to miss him., He goes to join his parents, oldest brother, sons Geno and Lucky, granddaughter Penny, and to find the best ever huckleberry patch.

There will be a Celebration of Gary's life at the Eagles on Monday January 15, 2024 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friends are encouraged to visit our website at www.buffalohillfh.com to leave notes of condolences for the family. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory caring for the family.

Gary helped build the Dworshak dam in Orofino, Idaho. Got to know him well. Hard worker. Can't remember his sisters name but she made us lunch each day. Jay Lee
