Leo F. Stoltz, 85

In Loving Memory of Leo F. Stoltz

With faith in God's eternal promise, we share the passing of Leo F. Stoltz, of Kalispell, on Oct. 9, 2025. Born April 2, 1940, in Flasher, ND, Leo served in the U.S. Navy and moved to Kalispell in 1966, where he formerly managed Carl Weissman and Sons. Known affectionately as "Big L," he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved bowling, golf, and was a longtime member of St. Matthew's Parish.

Leo is survived by his wife Marlene; children Janet Zauner (Jeff), Melissa Churla (Shane), and Brad Stoltz (Heather); grandchildren Morgen Cano (Cole), Coleman Zauner, Cameron Stoltz (Allyson), Isaiah Stoltz (Haylie); step-grandchildren Lierin Churla (Pat Adair), Morgan Churla (Brandon Charyna); great-grandchildren Sarika, Saige, and Piper Cano; Holland, Lincoln, and Elijah Stoltz; and step great-grandson Sully Charyna. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elnora Stoltz.

A funeral service will be held at St. Matthew's Church on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 8:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Samaritan House, in Leo's memory.

As Leo always said, with a smile: "See Ya When I See Ya."
