Linda Franchini, 78

Linda Joyce Franchini passed away December 11, 2023, at St. Petersburg General Hospital in Florida. Born and raised in Orange County, CA. She graduated from UCLA with a master's degree in library science. Her parents were Charles and Consuela Wiechhart. Linda is survived by her husband Julius "Joe" Franchini. Both are longtime residents of Flathead Valley with homes at Lake Blaine and Polebridge in North Fork. Linda worked many years as a kitchen designer for Home Depot in Kallspell. She was an active participant in philanthropic activities with the Franchini Family Charitable Foundations. She was instrumental in yearly gifting to Columbia Falls Food Bank, the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation, Intermountain Home for Children also Farming for the Future. Also, she was an avid gardener whose plantings were a spectacle to enjoy. She often offered other people compliments and a helping hand. As a result of her marriage, she embraced seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Linda was very self-sufficient and resourceful, a loving individual who enjoyed music and dancing. Linda enjoyed being in the company of animals and children. She had a beautiful smile and charming spirit. She will be long remembered by all who knew her. RIP my Love.
