Sandra Fredrickson Obituary
Sandra L. Fredrickson, 81, passed away peacefully after a short illness on August 28, 2025. She was born November 10, 1943 to Orton and Mildred (Tweet) Gunderson in Powers Lake, North Dakota, one of three children who grew up on a farm.
She married Allan Fredrickson on Jun 1, 1968, in Columbus, North Dakota and they adopted their daughter, Jodie, in July of 1973. Sandra was a homemaker and loving mother.
In retirement, Allan and Sandra spent their winters as "snowbirds", wintering in Yuma, Arizona, where they enjoyed an active social life including playing cards and attending concerts.
Sandra spent the last five years debilitated by a rare disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, but she was admired by all who knew her for never complaining about her condition. She will be remembered for her sunny outlook on life.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Allan, and brother, Jerome Gunderson. She is survived by her sister Sharon and daughter Jodie (Mike) of Somers.
A celebration of life will take place at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home in Kalispell on Thursday, September 4 at 2:00 p.m.
