Tristian Travis Owens
August 30, 1999 – August 18, 2025
Tristian Travis Owens, 25, of Libby, Montana, passed away on August 18, 2025, just shy of his 26th birthday. Born in Kalispell, Montana, on August 30, 1999. Tristian graduated from Flathead Valley Highschool in June of 2018. Tristian was a bright light to all who knew him-someone whose heart was as big as his smile and whose love for others was unmistakable.
Tristian was a man of deep faith, grounded in his Christianity, and committed to walking through life with love, compassion, and unwavering devotion. He wore his heart on his sleeve and had a gift for making people laugh-always ready with a joke or a kind word to brighten someone's day. To know Tristian was to know you were loved.
He is survived by his father, Timothy Owens; his mother, Melinda Galloway; his sisters, Natasha Owens, Tiffani Galloway, and Kiah Galloway; and his brothers, James Vinson and Matthew Freeman, along with numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss Tristian tremendously. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Callie his cat and Milo his dog, who brought him great joy and companionship.
Tristian's life will be honored in a memorial service on September 6, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Flathead Valley Baptist Church, 64 Dove Ln., Kalispell, MT 59901.
Donations can be made directly to The Schnackenberg & Nelson funeral home in Libby, MT.
All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and celebrate his memory.
Though his time with us was far too short, Tristian's impact, kindness, and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
