Barbara Taylor Obituary

Barbara Ann "Barb" Taylor, age 78, passed away Monday morning in her home in Greenwood, Indiana. She was born August 10, 1947, in Indianapolis to the late Charles and Marilyn Pugh.

Barb was a lifelong resident of the Southside graduating with in honors from Southport High School in 1965. Also, she was a lifetime member of Southport Presbyterian Church. In June 1967, Barb received her BSN from Indiana University and held several nursing positions during her career in the IU Health system. She retired in 2005 from Nursing 2000.

Barb leaves behind her loving family including her husband of 56 years, Bruce, and their children, son Michael (Josette) of Smith Station, AL, grandson Logan, and daughter, Erin (Nolan) and granddaughters Hannah and Hailey. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services for Barb will be held on Wednesday, October 22, at Wilson-St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory - Greenwood Chapel at 481 West Main Street, Greenwood, IN. Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm with the service at 1pm. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association-Greater Indiana Chapter (www.alz.org/indiana) at 50 East 91st Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240 or the charity of your choice.
