Bradley Poynter Obituary

Bradley "Brad" Greenwood Dale Poynter Bradley "Brad" Dale Poynter, 54, of Greenwood passed away on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025.

He was born on July 15, 1970 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Naman and Myrna (Blackwell) Poynter. He married Lisa (Blackwell) Poynter on April 6, 1996. She lovingly survives. Brad is also survived by children, Megan Poynter (Hunter Hines) and Gracie Preston (Christian); grandchildren, Carter Preston and Riley Preston; parents, Naman and Myrna; mother-in-law, Mary Blackwell; sister, Chris Champie (Canyon) and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his father-in-law, Don Blackwell.

Brad was a 1988 graduate of Center Grove High School.

Brad was employed by Brightspeed for twenty-seven years as a Service Tech.

He was a member of Mount Zion Assembly Church. He enjoyed keeping up with mowing his yard. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers fan. Brad was a loving husband, father, B-paw, brother, son, and uncle.

Revs. Steve and Linda Demaree will conduct a Celebration of Brad's life on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Assembly Church, 201 E. Madison Street, Franklin, Indiana 46131, with visitation on Monday, June 16th from 3:00 p.m. to time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the church. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Suicide Prevention Network.org

Expressions of caring and kindness may be received to the family at www.flinnmaguire.net
