James Pickett Obituary

James L. "Jim" Pickett Jr. 57 of Trafalgar, IN. passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019. He was born January 6, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN. to James L. "Jim" Pickett Sr. and Charlotte A. (Munn) Pickett. He was a 1980 graduate of Warren Central High School in Indianapolis. He was the owner operator of Pickett Equipment in Franklin, IN for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and truly enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and especially his grandsons. Survivors include his son Brannon James Pickett and daughter in law Makenzie Pickett of Bargersville, IN., two grandsons Cash James Pickett and Brookston Edward Pickett, mother Charlotte A. (Munn) Pickett of Greenwood, IN., his sister Shonda D. Pickett of Westfield, IN., a brother Mark A. Pickett of Martinsville, IN., and a niece Makayla L. (Pickett) Clayton of Colorado Springs, CO. He was preceded in death by his father. The Reverend Shan Rutherford will conduct a service on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 4PM till 8PM at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity in memory of James L. "Jim" Pickett Jr. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.swartzmortuary.com.
