Judy D. Rinear

Judy D. Rynerson Rinear, age 81, of Indianapolis, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 10, 2025 at Community South Hospital.

She was born on August 4, 1944 in Indianapolis to Vernon and Olive "Jackie" (Karchner) Rynerson. She was preceded in death by both her parents and her brother, Kenn Rynerson.

She grew up in Franklin, Indiana and was a graduate of Franklin High School.

She married Ron Rinear on April 30, 1977 in Greenwood, IN.

Judy worked at Eli Lilly and Company in the Capsule Manufacturing and Engineering Division for 30 years.

She attended St. Jude’s Catholic Church and St. Barnabas Catholic Church.

Judy enjoyed spending quality time with her granddaughters. She and Ron loved to attend

McKenzie and Emily's musical concerts and their sport activities.

Judy took great joy in her gardening. She would often speak of how close she felt to God when working with her flowers and plants. She loved to travel, wintering in Florida, reading, and The INDPLS COLTS !!!

Judy was a loving wife, step-mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family and life-long friends from Lilly and high school. She and Ron were blessed to be able to spend winters in Naples, FL for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband; her stepson, Scott Rinear (Michelle); two granddaughters, McKenzie and Emily Rinear; two great grandsons, and her sister,Linda Marino (Paul) of Palm Bay, FL.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
