Barbara Hutson Obituary
Barbara Graves Hutson
Barbara Graves Hutson of Park Hills, passed away April 13, 2021, at the age 93. She was born August 8, 1927, in St. Francois County, to the late Ralph and Edna (Garner) Graves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Bill Hutson, three brothers and two grandchildren.
A graduate of Farmington High School, Barbara married the love of her life, Bill Hutson, in March 1947. They built their home in Flat River in 1953 where she lived until she passed. She was a member of the Farmington First Baptist Church.
Barbara was employed at Farmington Trimfoot in the early 1950's and was in charge of the kitchen at Central R3 Elementary for 16 years. She volunteered at the Park Hills Library and Patient Access Concierge at Parkland Health Center.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Jan Hayes and husband Gary; daughter, Joni Cox and husband Jimmie; son, Neil Hutson and wife Debbie; five grandchildren: Joey (Tirenna) Mann, Bryan (Debbie) Mann, Blake (Whitney) Hutson, Mike (Corrie) Hayes, Michelle (Brad) Collins; four great-granddaughters; six great-grandsons; sister, Nancy Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for the family.
