Gary Goad, 51, formerly of Elvins, died in Houston, Texas Dec. 13, 2002. He was born Feb. 7, 1951, in Bonne Terre to John Goad and the late Ruth Barks.
He served in the United States Army and Navy. He was employed as an air conditioning and heating technician.
Survived by: Wife, Merl Jo Goad, Texas; daughters: Kandy Gray, Leadwood, Amanda and Ann Goad, Texas; sons: Kevin and Chris Goad; father, John Goad, Park Hills; sisters: Linda, Mrs. Ron Cummingham, Leadwood, Vickie, Mrs. Jay Dee Jones, Park Hills, Angie, Mrs. Jim Coplin, Park Hills, Sue, Mrs. Dennis Elders, Park Hills, Jennie Gilbers, Gail Cantrell and Dawn Wicks, St. Louis; two grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be Tuesday from 2-7 p.m. at the Coplin Funeral Home. Memorial services 7 p.m. Tuesday in The Coplin Chapel with Rev. Edna Stringer officiating.
