BONNE TERRE - Jeffery E. Clay Sr., 65 of Bonne Terre passed away September 15, 2008 at his residence. He was born March 20, 1943 at Bonne Terre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elgin Clay and Carol (Webb) Clay Murphy; Also his Wife, JoAnn Clay and Step-Father, Hershall Murphy.
Survived by Children, Jeffery (George) Clay Jr. and wife Jennifer of Winsfield, Jean Ann, Mrs. Marcus Wampler of Park Hills, James Clay and wife Sarah of Desloge; 11 Grandchildren; Two Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Carol, Mrs. Jesse Pritchett of St. Louis; Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Services for Jeffery Clay will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Parkview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
